Rescheduling of August 7, 2017 concert

The concert scheduled for Monday, August 7, 2017 has been rescheduled to August 21, 2017 at 7:00PM.

Rescheduling of Radio Nashville concert

The Radio Nashville Concert (originally scheduled for July 24) has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 7:30 PM with the new location at Park Avenue, by the Train Station.

Cancellation of concert on Monday, July 24, 2017

The concert scheduled for tonight (Monday, July 24, 2017) has been cancelled due to rain.

2017 Summer Recreation Program

East Rutherford Recreation will begin the Summer Program on Monday, June 26, 2017. Children who have completed kindergarten* through entering ninth grade are eligible. The location is McKenzie Field. The program will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm and run for 5 weeks, ending Friday, July 28. Registration will be during the first week at McKenzie Field. Proof of residency and proof of age will be required. Daily activities, weekly trips, and tennis lessons are planned. Parks are closed if it rains and will close early for excessive heat!

* Child must be 6 by October 1st

Free rabies clinic on Wednesday, January 18, 2017

The East Rutherford free rabies clinic for dogs and cats will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the East Rutherford Civic Center, 37 Vreeland Avenue, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
 
Please be advised that if your dog is not already licensed with the Borough for 2017, you will be required to do so at the clinic. Licensing fees are $10.00 for spayed/neutered dogs & $13.00 for non spayed/neutered dogs. Any licenses renewed after February 15th are subject to a $25 late fee.

Borough of East Rutherford 2017 Request for Qualifications

The Borough of East Rutherford is soliciting Qualification Statements from interested persons and/or firms for the provision of the professional services listed below. Through a Request for Qualification ("RFQ") process, persons and/or firms interested in assisting the Borough with the provision of such service must prepare and submit a Qualification Statement in accordance with the procedure and schedule in the RFQs. The Borough will review Qualification Statements only from those firms that submit a Qualification Statement which includes all the information required to be included as described (in the sole judgment of the Borough). The Borough intends to qualify (a) persons and/or firm that (a) possess the professional, financial and administrative capabilities to provide the proposed service, and (b) agree and meet the terms and conditions determined by the Borough that provide the greatest benefit to the taxpayers of East Rutherford.

The East Rutherford Police Department and our "Eyes on East Rutherford" Neighborhood Watch invites you to become a member. The time involved is minimal but it gives you an opportunity to learn how to prevent crime while being updated on any crime trends within our town. Listed in the below download is a short synopsis of what our members do.

The next meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Police Headquarters. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the information in the below download and return it to Police Headquarters, ATTN: Record Room, or just bring it with you on the 13th.

East Rutherford teens organize 6/11 Festival focused on suicide prevention

Four years ago, two 16-year-olds from East Rutherford had an idea for an event that would draw attention to the growing number of suicides in New Jersey. In 2013, high school freshman Faith Banca and Rebecca Cruz organized the first Sing into the Sunlight Concert & Festival. On Saturday, June 11, 2016, the fourth annual event will again put a spotlight on suicide prevention and awareness.
